Capercaillie and Black grouse mating season is lasts from April to the end of May. Every year many of our hunters come to Russia for the spring mating season. After your arrival in Moscow you will be met by our Russian partner and you will drive 2 - 3 hours to the hunting lodges, which are located in the middle of the hunting areas. You don't have to travel for hours on the train or even spend the night in a sleeping car. The hunting areas are in the regions of Yaroslavl and Smolensk, as well as Podporozhski.
Option 1 - Yaroslavl und Smolensk:
From Moscow airport it is around 2.5 hours to Smolensk and Yaroslavl. You will be met at the airport in Moscow and driven to your accommodation. On the way you can buy personal things for your stay, in supermarkets. After the hunt you will be driven back to Moscow to the airport. You will get help with all the formalities at the airport so that you have a relaxed hunting trip.
Option 2 - Podporozhskiy:
From St. Petersburg airport it is around 3 hours to Podporozhskiy. You will be met at the airport in St. Petersburg and driven to your accommodation. Your accommodation is a very nice hotel in an old traditional Russian construction. You will want for nothing during your stay. The hotel has an a la card restaurant, wifi, massage, sauna, and each room has its own bathroom according to European standards. You will get help with all the formalities at the airport so that you have a relaxed hunting trip.

IYour accommodation is a very nice hotel, with wifi and sauna and an a la card restaurant. Each room has its own bathroom with European standard. The hotel offers massage treatments for guests. The 70 hectare arial on which the property is built has a large park that is ideal for long walks. The accommodation is probably unique in Russia when hunting grouse.
