You hunt the Rusa deer (Cervus Timorensis), naturalized from East Asia, in the south of the island. Your arrival airport, ("Sir See-woosagur Ramgoolam International Airport"), is in the southeast of the country, in Plaisance. From there it is about 30 minutes by car to your hotel.
You hunt in a hunting area with a size of 4,000 hectares. Two hunting days are planned for the hunt for a Rusa deer. The hunting area consists of forests, open terrain and agricultural land. The hunting season is from June to November. The rut of the Rusa deer is between June and August.
Hunting deer and wild boar is done by stalking or from a raised hide. Driven hunts can also be organized.
The area is hilly and makes normal demands on the condition of the hunter. You can rent rifles on site.
