In one of the best hunting areas in Romania we offer a hunt for big chamois to all those who love mountain hunting. In body and trophy size the Carpathian chamois is the largest of all chamois. Trophy size up to 120 CIC points and mehr are possible. A good level of physical fitness is necessary.

We recommend hunting chamois from October to December.
It is primarily hunted while stalking. During the day the promising slopes will be checked. As soon as chamois are spotted, the strenuous part begins. The climb is now carefully made in order to reach the chamois at least at the same height. When a shootable chamois is spotted, it is important to make a good shot. As with all mountain hunts, the shooting ranges are slightly higher than usual.
Weatherproof clothing for warm and cold temperatures is recommended, as at this time of year, similar to Germany, it can be cold in winter or warm in late summer. In any case, the clothing should be windproof and breathable. Sturdy shoes should not be missing.
When hunting in the mountains, you should definitely have variable rifle scope with the appropriate magnification. Good binoculars, a spotting scope and a range finder are very helpful for this hunt.

The brown bear can be hunted either in spring at bait place or in autumn on driven hunts. If you want to hunt a really strong European brown bear, we recommend the sitting game on a bait place in spring. We hunt in different parts of Romania. The hunting season for spring bears is in April and May, each with waxing moon. Three to four hunting days should be scheduled, to hunt a big European brown bear. The brown bear is not a tough game, but we recommend calibers such as 300 Win. Mag., 8x68 S and optics e.g. 2.5 - 15x56 for night sitting game. We can also offer the brown bear hunt from a sitting game to physically handicapped hunters.
