Chamois and marmot in East Tyrol

The hunting areas in East Tyrol have a size of 5,000 - 10,000 hectares and hunted at a height of up to 2,700 meters. On chamois you mainly hunt from August to October. At this time, the weather is usually good and you hunt in a charming mountain landscape. For the hunt, you need an average condition. The number of chamois and marmot is very good. The hunt for marmot is from the end of August to the end of September. To hunt for the black chamois in the winter coat, we recommend the months of November or December, but you have to expect snow in these months.
